What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — for visitors, operators, and their end customers.

Overview
This policy explains what information Runway (“Runway,” “we,” “us”) collects through imrunway.com and the Runway dashboard, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to three groups of people: visitors to this site, business owners who create a Runway account (“operators”), and the customers of those businesses who interact with a Runway-built website (“end customers”).
If you’re an end customer of a business that happens to run on Runway, that business is the one that controls its own client and payment data. We process it on their behalf, under the terms this policy describes.
Information we collect
Account information. Name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) when you create an operator account.
Business information. Whatever you tell Runway about your business — the description you type in, your business name, logo, theme choices, service listings, and the modules you turn on.
Client and payment data. Contact details, appointments, invoices, and transaction records that an operator’s business generates through the platform.
Usage data. Standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — collected automatically to keep the service reliable and to understand which features are actually used.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information to data brokers.
How we use it
- To create and run your Runway account and the website, booking, and invoicing tools attached to it.
- To process payments and payouts through our payment processor, Whop.
- To send account, billing, and appointment-related notifications (email and, where enabled, SMS).
- To provide support when you contact us.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To improve the product — understanding which features get used shapes what we build next.
Payments
Runway does not store full payment card numbers. Checkout and payouts are handled by Whop, our payment processor, which is subject to its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS obligations. We receive transaction metadata (amount, status, timestamps) needed to show it in your dashboard and reconcile payouts, not raw card data.
Data retention
We keep account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within 90 days, except where we’re required to keep records longer for tax, accounting, or legal reasons — payment records in particular are often subject to longer statutory retention periods.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at privacy@imrunway.com. If you’re an end customer of a Runway-powered business, the fastest path is usually to contact that business directly, since they control their own client records.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls — to protect the data in our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we treat this seriously and will notify affected users if a breach materially affects them.
Children’s privacy
Runway is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we make changes, and for material changes we’ll notify operators by email before they take effect.
